Kimberly Blake is a graduate of the Medical Assisting program at Pennsylvania Institute of Health and Technology. She chose to attend PIHT because of the small classes, hands on training and personalized attention.
Medical Assisting appealed to her because of her desire to interact with patients and help in their care. When asked what her favorite part of attending PIHT was, Kimberly said, “it wasn’t just a school, we were family.”
Currently, Kimberly is employed as a medical assistant at the UPMC CancerCenter in Mt. Braddock, PA. She sends a special thank you to all of the staff and her friends at PIHT for supporting her through the tough times. Also, she would like to thank her wonderful fiancé, mother, and father for supporting her with every decision. Her advice for new students is that no matter how challenging it gets, it is more than worth it.
