Cystic Fibrosis Walk
On May 15, 2010, the Pennsylvania Institute of Health and Technology hosted a Cystic Fibrosis Walk along with a fun day. In addition to the walk there was a dunk tank, DJ, bake sale, Jessica's auction, Avon vendor, face painting, live band, food, and games for everyone to enjoy.
We were honored to have Jessica Everly, as the heart of our Cystic Fibrosis Walk and fun day. Jessica was diagnosed with CF in early childhood and her courage has become an inspiration to us all.
There was no rain to dampen the event as sun shone as brightly as the smile on Jessica's face.
The walk was started by the cutting of the ribbon by Jessica, with her friends and family by her side. With the help of of the state police and local firemen, the 50 participants in the walk were safely guided through local traffic.
The day became a huge success as everyone participated in many of the booths set up for participants. While the dunk tank was the biggest attraction, raising the sot money, the bake sale, Jessica's auction, and games were also a huge success.
We continue to ask for your prayers for Jessica and her family, as well as the many others with CF. We thank everyone who attended and also those who were unable to attend by donated to this worthy cause.

WCA "Kick off for CF" Wrestling Match
On May 16, 2010, the WCA wrestlers gave a lending hand in raising money for our fight to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. They set up a wrestling ring and rumbled for our cause.
Each match was full of excitement. Jessica was thrilled to accompany Jesse "The Extremist" as he was presented to the crowd. Jessica even had her hand raised in the middle of the ring while holding the belt! Jessica stated, "This was so much fun, I can not believe how good everything turned out."
The crowd went wild as the event continued. It was a fun experience for everyone who attended and thanks to all for your contributions.
